ImageThe Space Pak – a new generation of self-contained photoelectric sensors – designed in our R&D division in USA and manufactured in Denmark – providing the total sensor concept. It is designed especially with the packaging industry in mind where high performance, precision and reliability are essential.

The series will be available in 2 versions: the economical 1000 series and the advanced 2000 series. Both series have either 10 to 30 V dc or 18-240 V ac power supply with relay or transistor output; both are housed in a revolutionary semi-circular housing design (patent pending) and sealed to IP67; both are available with either cable or plug connection with output and power indicators located on the top of the housing, giving a 180? view of the LEDs.

The advanced 2000 series’ precision digital architecture and user-friendly, 4-digit digital display allow timers to be set at actual values (no more guessing based on the position of a dial). Normally open and normally closed output settings are independent of the type of sensor you are using (no more trying to figure out if light operated means normally open for a retro-reflective sensor). Smart one-shot timer technology can be re-triggered allowing for use as a zero speed switch or jam detection sensor.

The Advanced 2000 series features either manual or automatic sensitivity adjustment via the keypad controls. Telco’s Patent Pending “Digital Windowing” technology in the advanced series allows the user to target a specific signal value as shown by the digital display and allow the output signal to occur only within the targeted signal range. This very powerful technological advancement enables a photoelectric sensor to be used in applications where previously low-end vision systems were the only solution. This technology when used as a part of traditional sensing methods (thru-beam, diffuse proximity, retro-reflective, polarized retro-reflective and background suppression) provides a unique problem-solving tool capable of solving applications previously not possible with any photoelectric sensor.
