Oct. 5, 2017 – Rockwell Automation says it wants to help manufacturers make better business decisions by providing easy access to advanced analytics and operational insights available at the point of production in milliseconds – not hours.
This week, Rockwell Automation is showcasing its newest scalable compute offerings at IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona, along with other technologies, solutions and services in an effort to help companies take advantage of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The new Rockwell Automation scalable compute offerings leverage Windows 10 from the edge to the Cloud, integrating the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating system with existing manufacturing equipment and software, it says. They also can connect manufacturers’ on-premises infrastructure to the Microsoft Azure IoT Suite when needed.
